The purpose of the Contra Costa County Wellness in Schools Program (WISP) is to provide students in the County with timely access to the behavioral health services and support they need. The program aims to strengthen mental health partnerships between county mental health or behavioral health departments, community-based organizations, and local educational entities. The ultimate goal of this grant program is to increase access to mental health services and remove any barriers that may prevent students and their families from receiving the mental health care they need. By doing so, WISP seeks to better serve the mental health needs of students and families within the community.
