The Coping Centre has been providing free support to families who have lost loved ones for the past 33 years.  Our programs are not government funded and allow children as young as 5 to find support and connection with others who have lost.  We also provide community education to counselors and care givers by flying in world renowned thanantologists to increase the level of care to grieving people in our communities.

We have close ties to The Ontario Hockey League and have helped create the First Assist program to minor hockey players across the province to provide intervention when mental health is suffering and to support teams who have lost a member due to mental health issues.   We also run a summer adventure camp for grieving children where kids come together to explore the outdoors and find connection and meaning with other children who have also lost.
