CORE El Centro offers healing services and has a passion to create access for all people regardless of income level. We provide natural healing therapies designed to integrate body, mind, and spirit in a culturally sensitive environment. Through coalition building and leadership development we create wholistic programs to increase health equity and to inspire individuals, families and communities to optimal health.
CORE El Centro is focused on intervention, treatment, and prevention of physical and mental health issues serving historically underserved neighborhoods in Milwaukee with a community-oriented array of holistic services since 2002. CORE El Centro provides: 1) holistic natural therapies that treat disease and pain, trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues 2) health and wellness education and recreation to children and adults 3) outreach to people in the interest of community connectedness, environmental health, and violence prevention.
The three prongs of programming have grown organically based on the needs of the community; they represent a new, integrative approach to behavioral health and wellness.
We ask for your support to sponsor CORE El Centro's fundraising events in 2022, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the organization! Fundraisers bring in nearly 10% of our income, and we can't do the work without it!
