Countrywood PTA is an advocacy group comprised of 255 members who are parents and educators working together on behalf of the ~625 students (K-2) at Countrywood Primary Center in Huntington Station, NY. Our association seeks to “make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.”
Countrywood’s Night Out is our PTA’s largest annual fundraiser drawing close to 300 guests for a wonderful evening of dinner, dancing, and raffles! Proceeds of the event primarily support the Arts in Education programs brought in to our students. We actively seek to provide experiences that inspire students to think creatively, use problem solving skills, develop an appreciation for the arts, and embrace cultural diversity.
Fulfilling our mission, we also look to provide students with events and experiences focusing on Literacy, STEM, Family Engagement, and Health & Wellness. A portion of the proceeds from Countrywood’s Night Out and other PTA fundraisers throughout the year helps to fund these events as well.
