Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Jersey, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides a voice for abused and neglected children by empowering a statewide network of community-based CASA programs located in all 21 News Jersey counties. CASA of New Jersey provides support to local CASA programs through training, technical assistance, funding and statewide outreach and marketing. Trained community volunteers recruited by local CASA programs advocate in Family Court and the community for the best interests of children in foster care and other out-of-home placements to ensure their well-being and ultimate placement in safe, permanent homes. In FY 21, 1,907 CASA advocates served 3,321 children, but thousands of children and youth statewide are waiting for a CASA advocate today.
Generous donations enable CASA of New Jersey to continue our important work on behalf of
abused and neglected children statewide. Your donation of an auction item will:
- Sustain training, professional development, and continuing education for local CASA
advocates and staff; - Expand regional outreach to increase volunteer advocate recruitment, especially
among diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural communities; - Improve outcomes for children and youth in foster care through continuous quality
review and capacity building for local CASA programs.
