Courtney's Pumpkin Patch was started when Courtney was a 7th grader. Her and friends had a pumpkin patch to benifit local charities and her school in 8th grade. At the end of her 8th grade year she was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma. She lost her battle with the disease in 2008.Her mother Catharine and I along with friends and family decided to keep the pumpkin patch going in her name. We award graduating seniors, who meet certain criteria, a scholarship and we aid cancer patients, all in are local area.
