Cranford High School is a public high school in Cranford, New Jersey. I am a special education math teacher working at the high school now for six years. For the last four years, I have organized a huge motivational event for approximately 100 students to try to help them focus and do well through the end of the 4th marking period.
My students work extremely hard earning points daily and then at the end of the marking period, the points turn into raffle tickets, which they are able to use at a tricky tray event in the hopes of winning prizes.
I try to find prizes that get the students active and spending time with friends or families.
