Dear Friend,

Did you know that students who study art are four times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement and three

times more likely to be awarded for school attendance? Brain research shows that not only does music improve skills in

math and reading, but it promotes creativity, social development, personality adjustment, and self worth.

We are the Parent Teacher Organization for Creative Connections Arts Academy (CCAA). CCAA is a public K-12 charter

school that recognizes the need to integrate the arts and music into children’s education. All of our teachers integrate art

programs into their classroom curriculum daily, enhancing learning and student involvement. www.ccaa.twinriversusd.org

Through generous donations of local businesses, we’ve been able to provide the kinds of enrichment opportunities no longer

offered at many schools such as music class, full drama productions, and special guest artists and teachers.

I’m reaching out to you today to ask for a donation to help support our wonderful school. Any donations would be tax

deductible and go to support art related enrichment activities and have a direct impact on the lives of our students.
