Purpose and Objectives:
CVIMF is a nonprofit, non-political organization, whose sole purpose is to provide support to the musical education of students at CVHS and the Director of Instrumental Music. We provide organizational support – including clerical, financial*, administrative, logistical and organizational assistance. This allows the Music Director to focus on the musical education of the students.
* = We collect money through voluntary contributions and fundraising.
All parents are considered members and are asked to volunteer in some way.
In addition, we ask that each family donates a voluntary monetary contribution. The voluntary monetary contribution is not mandatory, but is vital towards the compensation of
our coaches
competition fees
transportation to music festivals and competitions
instrument and equipment purchases/repairs
uniform purchases and maintenance (clean/repair/replace)
dinner at competitions and festival
Your generosity allows us to continue to provide our musicians with items not purchased by our school district.
Our goal is 100% participation by all families!
