CVC was founded in 1972 as the first victim service agency in the nation, and since then, we have responded more than 100,000 times to victims of crime in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area. CVC operates with the core mission to empower people impacted by crime to move from crisis to resiliency. We fulfill this mission by partnering with the legal system, police departments, and other community agencies responding critically to violence victims. Our services include victim advocacy, counseling, community education, and legal representation.
