Crossroads Mission is a Christian, non-profit organization that has been serving the Yuma community since 1959. As their mission statement says, they are “committed to glorifying God by helping those at their crossroads of life.” They started out as a simple soup kitchen and overnight shelter for men. Eventually, as the needs of the community grew, so did Crossroads Mission. Today, they have programs and services for the homeless, the hungry, the needy, and the addicted. They are

·         Free meals served daily to anyone who comes to the Mission.

·         Emergency shelter services 24/7 for adult men at the men’s shelter.

·         Emergency shelter services 24/7 for adult females, and families at the family shelter.

·         A long-term transitional housing program to help homeless people get a source of income; save; and move out on their own.

·         A 120 day residential, clinical, drug and alcohol treatment program that is approved by the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS).

·         An education center that helps the community and program participants obtain their GEDs, with job searches, and resume building.

·         A thrift store that provides clothing to homeless guests, household items to program graduates, and offers low prices to help the community.

The Mission receives about half of its funding from donations from the community. Your support is essential to continue to help the most vulnerable of Yuma. Thank you!
