Dear Local Business Partner,
Cub Scout Pack 309 is excited to present the Pack’s annual Silent Auction to complement our Blue and Gold Banquet on March 29, 2019. It will be one of the major fundraising events at our Pack.
This is where we look to you for continued support, as our silent auction is only as successful as the items we receive as donations. We have appreciated the support of local businesses in the past and are truly grateful for any support you are able to give us this year
Please accept this email as our formal request for a donation that we can use for our silent auction. In the past, businesses have contributed gift certificates, merchandise, tickets, gift baskets, class sessions, etc. It is the generosity of local businesses and merchants that enables our silent auction to be a major source of funding for the amazing programs we are able to offer the students at Cub Scout Pack 309.
The Pack funds several enrichment activities throughout the year including camping, Pinewood Derby, Raingutter Regatta, and scholarships, just to name a few, which provide the scouts with life lessons that they will have for the rest of their lives.
Although we are strongly endorsed by Boy Scout of America, we receive NO funding from BSA and are supported solely through fundraisers and donations. We are asking you to please consider us in your charitable donation allocations.
Donations can be mailed to the above address or contact us and we will gladly pick up your donation.
We are able to accept donations until the day before the event, so if your 2018 fiscal year will not support a Blue and Gold Banquet donation, please include us in your charitable contributions for 2019.
