Cuidado Casero Foundation was created to support the advancement and the development of Hispanic/
Latino healthcare professionals by providing them with educational scholarships and leadership training
opportunities to assist them with achieving their academic aspirations. The Foundation is dedicated to
producing a variety of healthcare professionals in an effort to reduce the health disparities that exist in
the Hispanic/Latino community.
Through scholarships, mentoring, educational workshops, and career guidance, Cuidado Casero Foundation will support the mission to build a strong and diverse nursing workforce to advance the healthcare of our nation and the communities we serve.
The Cuidado Casero Foundation promises to build the community by:
Promoting and providing financial support for Hispanic individuals wanting to acquire a nursing degree, providing different levels of scholarship in the nursing field.
Mentorship and Educational Programs to influence Spanish/English speaking high school students to pursue a degree in nursing-assist in closing the gap of our community needs for Spanish speaking nurses.
