Cultural Language and Arts Student Enrichment Foundation (CLASE) funds various unique opportunities for the children of Napa Valley Language Academy (NVLA). NVLA is a Title 1 school with more than 550 students, k-5. Nearly 50 percent of students are English language learners and nearly 60 percent of students are low-income and qualify for free and reduced lunch. The non-profit NVLA parent-teacher organization, CLASE, coordinates our student and teacher enrichment programs and funds. These funds support student enrichment through field trips, after-school enrichment classes, new learning platforms, music, instruments, garden, supplies, outdoor education, teacher appreciation, safety, and more. NVLA offers students an award-winning, internationally recognized dual immersion program. Our students become bicultural and are bilingual and bi-literate in Spanish and English.
