CureDuchenne is committed to improving the lives of everyone affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy through accelerating research to find the cure, improving care and empowering the Duchenne community. Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a progressive muscle-wasting disease that is usually diagnosed in boys at 5 years age. Most boys diagnosed with Duchenne are in a wheelchair at the age of 12 and most boys will not live past their 20's.
