Dallas Hope Charities offers food, shelter and other services to instill dignity, stability, and hope for all. We primarily serve LGBTQ youth and community organizations living in the Dallas area through the following programs:

  • Dallas Hope Center: a transitional living program for LGBTQ youth experiencing homelessness. While in the program, youth stay with us for up to one year and receive services to help them move into stable living - all at no cost to our residents
  • Collective Hope Coalition: a basic needs hub composed of LGBTQ affirming organizations. This program allows community leaders to build connections and share information that is distributed to youth in need
  • Safe Place Program: operated in collaboration with the Dallas Police Department, the Safe Place program pushes local businesses to create a safe and inclusive community for all by reporting hate crimes and servicing victims in need
  • Hopeful Discussions: a community education program that creates a "brave" learning space for individuals to learn about LGBTQ identities and issues, in hopes of reducing homophobia and microaggressions
