CEO is an acronym for Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunites. CEO is open to high school juniors and seniors from both public and private high schools in Daviess County, Indiana. Through funding from local business investors, the CEO students visit over 70 local businesses and host a large number of business people to get hands-on experience in the business world. Students are given the ability to leave the 'bubble" of the classroom to interact with local business leaders and gain insights into business operations. Additionally, class instruction is comprised of writing a minimum of two business plans, running a class business project, and hosting an annual trade show in the spring. The trade show allows the students to turn their business plans into reality. The CEO program is shaping the future business leaders of America.
