Our Mission is to improve lives. DCCCA's philosophy of family preservation remains consistent with our succesful history. We focus on the strenghts and competencies of family members and work in partnership so they can remain safely together. We respect each family as the unit they define for themselves. Our strenghts-based belief encourages families to explore root cause trauma and challenges. Our family centered approach is evidenced in the way we involve family in service planning and implementation. DCCCA also coordinates programs across the Midwest to provide behavioral health prevention and treatment, recruitment, training, and support of foster homes, family services, and traffic safety education and resourcces. We also provide evaluation research to our programs and partners.
The reason for me reaching out today, is because on 12/14/2023. DCCCA is Mission Kansas will be having a holiday event for children at risk and in foster care. I am requesting that you consider helping us with some worlds of fun tickets to gift to teens and chidlren who have never visit your amusement park. Many of them come from very high poverty levels and often are denied opportunities to visit such places. I am confident that with your help, we can bring joy to many of these children.
