The Event Benefits our Center, which is a non-profit that provides professional, therapeutic services to child abuse victims and non-offending family members at no cost at all. The mission of the Center is to provide support to families in preventing and dealing with child abuse in West Tennessee and to help both parents and children meet the practical needs of preserving and improving the quality of family life. All money raised will stay with the center to better help us serve our community and the children in it. Once again, we are a non - profit so the funds raised from this event helps us stay open. Our center has been open since 2006 and in that time, we have served 638 families, 1450 children, and 1089 adults through our services. We specifically offer therapy, victim advocacy services, family advocacy services, and parenting classes. Through our victim and family advocate services we help provide families with resources and support needed while they need us. This might include helping a child prepare for court and being there with them the day of, helping file for victim compensation, being a connecting branch between them and the law as they follow their case and much more.
