Our school is gearing up to host our annual Parent Party Fundraiser & Auction. The purpose of our fundraiser, consistent with the mission os the PTA, is to provide educational and cultural enrichment for our students , foster social connection in our community, and support Deephaven School operations for our teachers and staff.
This year, our goal is to raise $30,000 to support our school's annual teacher grants. Supporting our teacher grants provides our teachers with the necessary tools to enhance our student's education while supporting every student in our building. Please see the list below of what past fundraisers enabled to get an idea of the ways funds we generate support literacy building and learning:
- Increased our collection of early reader books
- Purchased flexible and small group seating throughout the school
- Funded a school - wide math fact fluency platform to boost math proficiency
- Helped build a diverse library with books that represent environment and inclusion
- Purchased iPad keyboards to build typing proficiency
- Funded a climbing wall and purchased new gym mats for the physical education department to support strong bodies in addition to strong minds
Our school would love your support for our auction by donating and item to our silent and/ or live auction. Your contribution will be acknoledged at our event (250 guests) as well as on our online platform (400 + viewers). Your generosity is greatly appreciated and will helpbuild our Deephaven Elementary School's community.
