Mission Statement
Who we are: A volunteer group of parents and friends who understand and believe in the many benefits of involvement in the arts that help a student develop life long skills and confidence, lasting a life time and making a positive difference in a person’s quality of life and contribution to society.
Mission: Be a leader in support and advocacy at the Deer Park School System benefitting the performance and visual arts programs for grades 1-12.
Vision: DPAC will be a vibrant, self-sustaining organization that meets the needs of the performing and visual arts programs for the Deer Park School System while enhancing community involvement and support.
Purpose:
To advocate for the participation of students in the performing and visual arts.
To raise community awareness of the benefits of student participation in the performing and visual arts through advocacy and education.
Provide financial support to purchase materials and equipment supporting school events, theater productions, trips and educational opportunities not available through school funding.
Offering student scholarships to students pursuing a career in the performing and visual arts.
Provide community relationships that develop into long-term support of DPAC.
Become a strong and valuable organization that advocates for the performing arts through relationships with local and state legislative bodies.
