DEFY Foundation was created in 2014 in honor of Michigan family that lost 5 members to Vascular Ehlers Danlos, a rare and life=threatening disease currently with no treatment or cure. Our mission is to raise awareness and funding for research for Vascular Ehlers Danlos. We have been able to fund a medical research assistant at Johns Hopkins and have hosted 4 International Scientific Research Meetings for the worlds leading vEDS researchers and clinicians.
