Georgia Black Home Educators Network (GBHEN) is a collaboration of homeschool organizations and nonprofits with a desire to empower Black families to realize the educational possibilities of homeschooling. The founding members are Nicole Doyle of DeKalb Christian Home Educators in Stone Mountain, GA, Andrea Hall of EPIC Homeschool Network in Austell, GA, and Michelle Shaw of Northeast Independent Preparatory Academy in Lilburn, GA.

Mission: To provide opportunities, ensure access, and secure resources that empower Black families as home educators.

Goals:
*Establish a network of academic, administrative, and financial resources supporting homeschool support groups.
*Ensure access, provide opportunities, and secure resources for parent-led home education.
*Provide a unified protective voice for parental rights and educational autonomy.
*Partner with Black families, group leaders, churches, academia, and community organizations for support that grows the homeschooling movement in Georgia.

GBHEN has partnered with HSLDA, VELA Education Fund, yes. every kid., National School Choice Week, and over 30 home education advocates and experts to present practical supports for underserved, homeschooling communities and families.
