The agencies, individuals, and organizations involved in this network are in agreement that our primary mission is to do adequate and comprehensive investigations of all reported incidents of child abuse, extreme neglect or illegal exploitation of the children in Delaware County, Oklahoma by creating the employing and appropriate protocol, and to aid in the prosecution of the offender when necessary to protect the community. We will provide or refer victims to all appropriate services needed by them or their families to help them deal with the situation and heal from the trauma. Further, we aim to provide resources and initiative to prevent child abuse and neglect in our community through the cooperative efforts of all the agencies and individuals involved in DCCSAN. To these ends we have established and will maintain a Children’s Alliance in Jay, Oklahoma for the purpose of conducting investigations and providing other needed services in an environment designed and maintained to minimize the trauma to the victim and the non offending members of their family.
