PTA's mission is to positively impact the lives of all children and families. Within the Delta Council Region, we serve the children and families of 21 local elementary, middle and high schools within Antioch, Brentwood, Byron, Discovery Bay and Oakley, CA. Our goals include:
- Advocating for legislation, policies, and measures that: safeguard the health, safety, welfare, culture and well being of children and families, including mental health services and support for vulnerable youth; promote evidence based, informed family engagement; expand civic engagment, learning and participation.
- Providing programs,expertise, and resources to support and expand PTA advocacy at the local level
- Cultivating an inclusive organization
- Strategically planing for tomorrow's PTA
- Expanding membership and its value
- Strengthening PTA's impact
- Training, developing and supporting leaders at local levels
