Dental Health Arlington has served over 12000 individuals in Tarrant County by providing free and low cost dental services. The DHA clinic serves approximately 2500 individuals each year. The SMILES school based program providees dental screenings, oral hygiene education, a toothbrush and preventative services such as sealants and fluoride varnish to students in 40 Title 1 schools in Arlington, Grand Prairie, and Mansfield. This program served over 9000 first, second, and third grade students at no cost to them or their families. We also provided free dental services to over 400 children at various outreach activities and our yearly Give Kids A Smile event (screenings, cleanings, radiographs, extractions, and restorative work)
