Our purpose at Denville Community Church is to be an enthusiastic community of God’s love in action. Empowered by the Holy Spirit and guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ, we seek to share this love in response to human needs, hurts and hopes.
Some of our community outreach projects include pantry collections, providing meals and companionship to homeless families, holiday and emergency collections for local families in need, homemade quilt production and distribution, regular visitation to shut-ins and the homebound by both clergy and lay members, a weekly team that visits and repairs homes at the Jersey Shore devastated by hurricane Sandy, and participation in the Appalachian Service Project, a program that reaches out to families in great need in the Appalachian region.
