The Des Plaines CHamber of Commerce & Industry and the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce & Industry Foundation has many purposes to serve the community and veterans from the community and surrounding region. The support we receive from our members benefit the Chamber Education Foundation for student scholarships, professional development, marketing, networking opportunities, community involvement, legislative support, and educational seminars as well as our own "Veterans Back to Work Boot Camp" established to help veterans return to the work force after service or in need of a career transition. The boot camp is a six week program where veterans apply and are accepted into the program with the goal of helping them develop / refine their resumes, work on interviewing skills and general work place skills that would help them find a role that fits their needs. We are asking for support in sponsorships and donations for our silent auction. Please consider donating any items that we can offer in our raffle.
