For years at Destiny, we have cared for our ailing seniors patients through our Hospice, Home Health, and palitive.
The Destiny Care Foundation is a non-profit organization whose main objective is to enhace the quality of life of our seniors (65+). Our initial objective was targeted towards seniors whose needs were not covered under the services covered under Medicare Hospice, Palitive, or Home Health Benifits, but as the needs of those we served increased, we expanded our organization to provide to all senios. the areas we serve are the riverside/san bernaardino counties and san diego county.
One of our main programs is our sponsor a senior Program. Through tax deductible donations, we provede for our seniors through our temporaty caregiving service, meal delivery program , suppplying of medical equipment and medication, and this we hold fundraising events to further provide for our senior community like our 2018 thanksgiving Meal Drive.
Our hope in reaching our to you is to help us at the Destiny care Foundation learn how to reserach, prepare and apply for grants . as a non-profit, all that we provede our seniors with is made posssible through the generous donations of our community, from medical equipment families no longer needed, to their monetary support to continue our programs. we hope that in networking with you we can additionally apply for and obtain grant support to futher our company objective. with grant support, we hope to continue and improve the quality of care and resuces we can provide our seniors, expand our business, increase the number of programs and events we can hold for our community and outreach tomore seniors. in networking with you, we hope to learn more about the grant processes and what grants are availble tous to apply for.
