Our mission is to empower student changemakers, promote digital safety, and celebrate youth innovation through our powerfully relevant curriculum, hands-on training, annual LiveStream events, and global social media communities. Negative online material and behavior are linked to higher levels of stress, anxiety, depression, and suicide in kids and teens. Just because students understand the mechanics of social media and digital technology doesn't mean they know how to deal with issues like cyberbullying, harassment, inappropriate content, privacy, and online safety. At Digital4Good x #ICANHELP, we aim to empower students with the tools and training they need to protect themselves, develop their digital media toolkit, and use social media in a way that promotes mental and emotional wellness.
Established in 2013, Digital4Good x #ICANHELP has garnered a commendable history of promoting digital safety and wellness. Over the years, our organization has impacted more than 700K students across the US and nine other countries through its educational initiatives. Central to our mission is combatting cyberbullying and online abuse by empowering student leaders and educators. Through a multi-faceted approach that combines education, student leadership, and technology, we have successfully created a platform for positive change. One of our standout achievements is the annual Digital4Good Summit, which unites students, educators, and mentors to harness the potential of digital media and technology for addressing diverse challenges, while also highlighting student innovators who serve as inspirations for others to make a positive impact.
