Discovery Depot Children's Musuem is a hands-on learning museum for families and youth in Knox, Warren, Henry, McDonough and Henderson Counties. The museum's mission is to inspire wonder and excitement for learning. We strive to do this in 2 ways: enthralling exhibits that offer STEM and higher level problem solving opportunities and through engaging program offerings. The museum promotes tiered learning for not only the children, but to reach the adults in learning together. Located in an economically depressed area, the museum is a community anchor that has a positive impact on families.
