DVSC is a private, non-profit organization serving Luzerne and Carbon counties, whose mission is to work toward the elimination of domestic violence. DVSC relies on the generosity of our community to help support our mission and to continue to provide free and contidential services.

For over 40 years, DVSC has been the only agency in Luzerne and Carbon Counties to provide direct services to victims and survivors of domestic violence. In addition to the emergency shelter and a transitional housing program. DVSC also provides 24-hour hotline for information and referral, crisis intervention, supportive counseling services, accompaniment to court hearings in protection from abuse matters, children's program activities, civil legal representation, and community education programs.
