The Mission of DoughMain Financial Literacy Foundation (DMFLF) is to prepare today's students and the greater community for a lifetime of financial responsibility. We accomplish this through the development of engaging programs for uderserved schools and communities that teach improtant foundational skills related to the personal finance. However, it is an uphill battle. Only 24 states require student to ake a course in either economics or personal finance to graduate. Yet, studies have shown that financial literacy education positively influences financial behavior. DMFLF is working to reverse the decline in financial literacy in our country and build stronger, more financially literacte youth and communities. Out FitKit Peroansl finance curriculum focuses on eight key financial topics- income and careers, pay, benefits and deducations; taxes, budgeting, banks and banking; savings and investments; credit; and insurance- giving people of all age's financial knowledge.
