Douglas County Visiting Nurses Association, Inc. (VNA) is a not-for-profit organization based in Lawrence, Kansas, dedicated to providing comprehensive home health and hospice care since 1969. Founded by Lyn Rothwell, RN, and a group of community leaders, VNA began in an unfinished basement and has grown into a cornerstone of compassionate care in Douglas County. Our mission is simple but powerful: Improving quality of life through compassionate care delivered wherever patients call home.
