Our mission at DOVES Network is to empower and support teens ages 13-18 affected by Childhood Domestic Violence (CDV) and sexual abuse through intervention and prevention pathways.

We provide wrap-around services to community organizations through intervention, prevention, and empowerment.

  1. Intervention services are delivered through peer support groups for teens 13-18 bi-weekly in person and virtually. These groups are not counseling but rooted in culturally-specific, trauma-informed care & social-emotional learning principles. We also custom-curate activities for the surviving parent & the teen to heal together & make new memories as they navigate their new normal.
  2. Prevention services are delivered through our training to community organizations, schools, & even churches on the cause, impact, &, most importantly, healing. Our most requested trainings are on domestic violence, childhood domestic violence, & healthy relationships.
  3. Empowerment services are the vehicle for filling the gaps for those families impacted by domestic & sexual abuse. By way of outreach to those that need a hand up, whether through groceries, transportation, clothing, and school needs.
