The purpose of Dress for Success Northern New Jersey is to offer long lasting solutions that allow women to break the cycle of poverty. We are part of a global movement for change, empowering women to obtain safer and better futures. We provide each member (unemployed and underemployed) with professional attire to secure employment, but we are so much more than simply a new outfit. Our programs furnish our members with a confidence that they will carry forever and the knowlege that they can actually define their life, the direction they take and what success will look like for them. We believe that every member deserves the right to realize her full potential and achieve economic independence. We believe with proper tools, education and action, this world is possible. Poverty often affects women the most and its effects on them and their families can be long lasting. Therefore, addressing their needs is essential to improving the quality of life not only for the woman but for her family, future generations and the community.
Through our intensive job readiness programs, our members are equipped to be in the workforce and achieve financial independence.
