Drexel Neumann Academy (DNA) is an independent Catholic school located in the struggling city of Chester, Pennsylvania.  Admittance is offered to any child who resides in the city of Chester, there is no discrimination based on religion, financial resources, or race.  Over 90% of the students are non-Catholic and 100% require tuition assistance. The average income of our families is $27,600. All our families require and receive tuition assistance. DNA has become a beacon of hope in a city whose children know all too well about poverty and violence. Given the opportunity to attend DNA, our students are succeeding. In a city with a 58% graduation rate, 100% of our graduates have graduated from high school and are succeeding in college or the work force.

Empowered by the witness and lives of St. Katharine Drexel and St. John Neumann, we are committed to providing a Catholic elementary school education in a multicultural environment to the children of Chester.  Franciscan spirituality and diversified instruction will promote an environment, which recognizes the giftedness of each child.
