The mission of Drumm Center for Children Inc (better known as "Drumm Farm Center for Children" or simply "Drumm Farm") is to provide nurturing and inclusive services and environments that inspire and yield the lifelong success of children, young adults, and families.
Drumm Farm has a variety of programs serving youth in the Kansas City area. The HOME program provides individualized homes for nearly a dozen foster families, including therapeutic, educational, and emotional support on site for every child in the Drumm community. The COMPASS program offers housing and a network of support to young adults ages 17 to 22 experiencing homelessness, and Street Outreach Services (SOS) provides support to youth ages 14 to 22 struggling to maintain stable housing. Drumm Farm employs social workers and therapists who provide outreach in schools, libraries, and other community locations.
