Dunwoodie Youth Association (DYA) is a local organization run by volunteers created to start a nuturing and learning environment for children from the ages of 4-15 in the city of Yonkers. DYA is a nonprofit community based organization promoting health and wellness to children and families. Our youth sports programs have been designed with every child in mind. We encourage participant self-discovery, where children not only learn to love the variety of sports we offer through DYA programs, but also learning important life lessons such as sportsmanship, effort, self-confidence and fun. Creativity and innovation are highly encouraged in our youth sports program. We will be hosting DYA Familiy Day on Junne 22nd of 2024. During DYA Familiy Day, we will be giving out trophies and awards to our partcipants. We will entertain families with gaes, food & music. We will have raffles/silent auctions with all proceeds going to DYA to support us in keeping registration costs low for families, uniforms for our children, field & gym permit fees, umpire and referee payments and giving back to our comunity.
