Durkin Park is a Pre-K through 8th grade public school in Chicago, IL. 80% of the students come from low-income households, and over 70% of the students are bilingual or English Language Learners. Durkin Park is a supportive learning community responsive to the needs of the whole child. Our school provides core curriculum classes (Language Arts, Science, Math, and Social Studies), exploratory classes (Library, Technology, Physical Education, Arabic, Music, and Art), special education services, services for English Language Learners, and Social Emotional Learning during the school day, and a variety of sports and clubs after school.
