The East Bluff Community Center (EBCC) fosters community engagement and stabilization in a neighborhood that faces the challenges of poverty and violence. We provide a safe and welcoming place to gather, and we are a hub for education, recreation, and services. We partner with agencies and individuals to bring in programming and resources that our community members want and need.
Services in our community center include food pantry and community garden, Boys & Girls Club after-school programming, an alternative education location for students who are having trouble in school, substance abuse recovery support, affordable housing development, art education, boxing club, basketball programs, energy assistance, and more. We believe the EBCC will be an excellent potential partner for your program.
Our efforts aim to bring all of these important services directly to an under-served neighborhood, and have the broader goal of reducing poverty and violence by equipping community members with skills and education to improve their lives and providing alternative activities for youth to keep them out of the streets.
