The East Parker County Library (EPCL) provides free borrowing services to all residents living within Parker County, Texas and within Aledo ISD (considerably more than just the 17,000 people "assigned" to the library by the state library association). Celebrating 30 years serving the communities of East Parker County, EPCL is as independent as the people it serves and continues as the only non-profit library in the region. The mission of the East Parker County Library is to encourage a love of reading, promote lifelong learning, and broaden informational, educational, recreational, and cultural enrichment opportunities for our patrons.
