The Mission of East Travis Gateway Library District is to bring information, ideas, and people together to promote a love of reading, discovery, and connection, as well as contribute to the creation of a stronger community. We provide library services including book and DVD rentals, children's programming, computer, wi-fi and printing access, and notary services. We also just unveiled our mobile library which provides library services to neighbors that face barriers to visiting their local library due to health, distance, or transportation difficulties. We serve a vast array of patrons, including patrons that are low socio-economic status. We are trying to provide opportunities for our patrons to attend places and events that they may not be able to attend otherwise due to finances.
