Easterseals Oregon exists to improve the quality of life and serve children and adults with disabilities, Veterans, seniors, and their families, ensuring all feel included and valued and have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities. Our vision is to create and deliver disability services, workforce development and housing programs that result in 100% included and empowered participants in their communities.
Easterseals Oregon is an affiliate of Easterseals which has been providing services to help children and adults with disabilities and their families for over 100 years. Easterseals Oregon has programs specifically tailored to the needs of the Oregon community with four major programs: Housing Assistance for Homeless Veterans, Housing Assistance for Seniors, Employment Assistance for Seniors and for Veterans, as well as Employment Assistance and Training for people with disabilities and language barriers. We also have a Camps and Recreation program that provides barrier-free day and residential camps for children and adults with disabilities.
In 2023 we were able to serve over 1,200 participants throughout Oregon, but the need is greater, and we are raising money to expand to help as many people as possible.
