ESAC is a community-based nonprofit and multi-service agency that strives to improve the quality of life for residents of Boston and eastern Mass. Focusing on children and the elderly through innovative programs in home ownership, education, and community service, ESAC helps identify problems that threaten individuals and communities, and works in partnership with other agencies to find creative, long-lasting solutions.
Poverty, unstable or unsafe housing, and a lack of support impact the quality of our lives. Our work aims to improve the quality of life for low-income residents and to strengthen communities by:
- reducing housing instability, homelessness, and displacementÂ
- promoting pathways for youth through education and employmentÂ
- improving economic stability and healthcare access
ESAC achieves this by equipping elders and youth each year with the knowledge, tools, and support to overcome obstacles to their stability and growth.
