The Edison Cheer and Song teams compete in many local and national competitions including the National High School Cheerleading Championship featured on ESPN and USA Nationals in Anaheim.
Cheer and song leading is a very costly sport, which requires choreography, tumbling and technique classes, stunt camps, and competitions. These types of events are expensive, but also very necessary in order to build a successful, competitive program. Cheerleaders and Songleaders are consistently working on improving or advancing skills in performing, tumbling and stunting, and dance technique.
