EKGs for EGK was created in memory of Beth Kunce to support the prevention and education of sudden cardiac death in young people. Our work centers around three core programs: Sponsorship of Community High School EKG screenings through the organization Young Hearts for Life, Student and Staff Scholarships/Grants, and Community Education/AED Donation.
Each year we host a golf outing at Bartlett Hills Golf Course which generates funding to sponsor EKG screenings through Young Hearts for Life at Chicagoland area high schools as well as provide scholarships/grants. This past year, we have also started an AED donation program for businesses and organizations in our communities that are in need.
