The Eliot Elementary Foundation is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 2013 to provide long-term financial support of Eliot Elementary School. All funding decisions will be supported by a Foundation Board, which is made up of volunteer parents, teachers, professionals, and counselors with input from the PTA and school administrators.
The Foundation's purpose is to support our school by purchasing elements of education that the district and state are unable to provide, including technology, supplemental curriculum and other valuable student services. The benefits of a foundation include having greater freedom over the funding of programs/technology/services and ensuring that every dollar donated will directly benefit our children's education.
Some things the Foundation has funded are MakerSpace, the 2023-2024 music teacher salary, annual teacher grants and so much more! This is all made possible by our wonderful families and community that support our school!
