Our primary mission at the Ellenville Nursery School is to support and enrich the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of young children. We function on a non-discriminatory basis with regard to race, color, ethnic, sexual, religious, political, disability or nationality. We endeavor to provide a warm and caring classroom atmosphere to foster curiosity, imagination, and exploration. Our days are filled with many activities, including reading and math readiness, science, music, creative drama, and arts and crafts. Our staff undergo a minimum of 15 hours of training annually in early childhood education to remain current with updated regulations, policies and trends. Our full-time staff are lifelong learners and are kept up to date with CPR/First Aid certification. An integral part of our program is the involvement of families. This cooperative Nursery School depends and thrives on families and teachers working together to create a vibrant and nurturing learning environment. We have been creating friendships and memories for over 65 years!
