Embrella was founded in 1974 with a mission to embrace, support, and advocate for children, youth, and families within the child welfare community, and annually serves 3,000 foster youth throughout NJ. Embrella nurtures New Jersey foster children cradle-through-college, through an overlapping network of resources including fostr parent training, childhood wish-granting, mentoring, emergency funding, and college scholarships.
